Half of Me

This is a drawing of my first other half and my first best friend, my twin brother Dave. Not that we look anything alike, we hardly look like siblings let alone twins. But being a twin is something I'm so proud of and it gave me such a warm fuzzy feeling to draw him.

He lives on the opposite side of England to me, so we don't see each other too often. I think it makes those times we do meet up even more special. He and his little family came to stay with us over Christmas and he kindly let me take some reference photos. I love capturing those fleeting moments either just before or just after a pose, and this is one of those moments....we both agreed it's such a great composition and expression.
