The Sevenoaks Art Club was founded in 1901 for professional and amateur artists to meet and work together. Members come from all walks of life and have varying levels of skill as artists but all are joined together by a desire to draw, paint or sculpt in the company of like minded people. The club has a warm and friendly atmosphere. It has a long history as it has always been forward looking.
Meetings take the form of joint art sessions, visits, lectures and exchanges of ideas. They are normally held in and around Sevenoaks at fortnightly intervals. In the summer, meetings are usually outdoors but, in the winter, indoor meetings are the norm.
The club holds several exhibitions in and around Sevenoaks during the year with many of the works displayed available for sale.
New members are welcome at any time regardless of expertise or experience.
