Exhibition

Explore the winners of 2022 Artists of the Year in our beautiful exhibition video.

Since 2020, SAA has stood for ‘Supporting All Artists’. So, we decided to do just that as we scouted gallery spaces for this year’s Artists of the Year exhibition, by renting a space from a local art club. Nottingham Society of Artists is one of the oldest art societies in the country, founded in 1880. Its home is St Luke’s House, a three storey Art Deco building in Friar Lane, a stone’s throw from the newly renovated Nottingham Castle in the centre of the city. St Luke’s House was built for the Society in 1934 and it still owns the whole building.

Prize winners were invited to a private viewing of the exhibition where trophies and certificates were presented by Mel Sallis and Artists of the Year judge and professional artist Alison C. Board.
