A.J. (Tony) Hogan

Tony Hogan is an internationally professional artist, living and working in Cornwall, England. He has travelled and painted around the world. From his training in the early sixties at Bradford Regional College of Art he worked commercially for many international organisations before focusing on tutoring and creating his own fine art. A few years ago with his wife Eileen he relocated to Wadebridge, Cornwall where they continue to run art holiday courses throughout the year. He is vastly experienced and gives tuition in a wide variety of media, including watercolour, oils, acrylics, pastels, charcoal, ink and pencil, scrapaboard and I pad art. A demonstrator for leading brands including Pan Pastels, Atelier Interactive Acrylics, Daniels Smith watercolours and Oils, Maimeri watercolours, all Derwent pencil products, Rosemary brushes, Graph*it markers, Hahnemuhle and St. Cuthbert Mills paper manufacturers, plus Ampersand art board supports. Tony has been exhibited widely over the years and is pleased to have his works hung in many countries around the world. He has produced work for the Yorkshire Television series " Heartbeat" series. Was was the first artist of the twenty first century to be in residence at "Burton Agnes Hall ". Has been a resident artist at the Derwent Pencil Museum in Keswick. Held many exhibitions including the National Trust Treasurers house in York, the Spa Gallery Bridlington, Cober Hill Creative retreat hotel, galleries in the north and south of the country. He regularly writes articles for art magazines, is a professional associate of the Society of all Artists and the United Kingdom pencil society . Has frequently appeared on television sharing his techniques.
