Gilly Lovegrove

Tunbridge Wells, Kent

I studied illustration at Central Saint Martins in London.

Last year as a portrait painter I had seven commissions, perhaps the most notable being the great grandson of Lord Mountbatten.
I have tutored a workshop in flower drawing skills in the garden at the National Trust’s Sissinghurst Castle, near Cranbrook, Kent. I have also tutored portrait drawing workshops at Tonbridge Girls Grammar School, Kent and illustration workshops at Westlands School, Sittingbourne, Kent.
