Jacqueline Wilson

Painting had been an occasional distraction from work until moving house in 2016. More space, beautiful countryside and wanting a better work-life balance with two young children spurred me on to try to make the career change from analyst to artist.

I started in acrylics, painting a range of subjects from landscapes and botanical to figures and cars. I’ve recently found a love of incorporating inclement weather into my paintings and have moved on to painting oils, allowing me greater scope to create the atmospheric paintings I strive for. I have just started branching out into items printed from my oil paintings, greetings cards and coasters and will be selling at my first Christmas fairs this winter.
