Lavinia Hamer works principally in Watercolour and Pen and Wash with a strong interest in natural subjects.She began her art training at Falmouth School of Art and took her degree and post-graduate at Chelsea School of Art as well as a post-graduate year in Holland. As well as exhibiting regularly Lavinia works independently and to commossion and demonstrates for groups and clubs. She has illustrated a number of books and contributed to Art magazines. She has also worked in stained glass. Currently Lavinia works mainly in East Anglia but maintains strong liks with Cornwall where she also works part of the time
