Leonora de Lange


I am an award-winning South African artist, now residing in Lossiemouth, Scotland on a Global Talent Visa, endorsed by the National Arts Council of the UK. I enjoyed drawing and painting from a young age. I have a B.A degree in Fine Arts from Wits university in Johannesburg, A Teachers Higher Diploma from the College of Education in JHB. I achieved Associateship of the Watercolour Society of South Africa ( Unfortunately it no longer exists) HS status from the Hilliard Society in the UK and Associate of the MPSGS in the USA. I have won awards for my paintings and miniatures through various societies and competitions in South Africa, the UK, the USA and Bangladesh and have served on several committees, including as Chairlady, vice-chairlady and secretary. I have been teaching adult art in South Africa and have done demonstrations, talks and workshops in various centres. I have also led art holidays in South AFfica and art cruises in Croatia.
