Liz Wellby is a versatile and experienced fine artist. Following the completion of a Fine Arts degree at Loughborough University in 1990 she returned to Derbyshire where she works as an artist in residence, art teacher and maker.
Living and working on the edge of the Peak District is important to Liz, providing a significant visual resource for her work. The themes of home, countryside and the domestic environment can be seen in her drawings, print work and sculpture.
Liz is an experienced teacher having taught a range of creative subjects at secondary level and in more recent years she has delivered a wide variety of workshops to many groups and art societies.
Please contact Liz to arrange a studio visit if you wish to view specific pieces of her work, to discuss her running bespoke workshops or demonstrations for your art group or society, or to discuss tailor made tuition.
