Popular TV artist and overall winner of ‘Artist of the Year’ 1999, with the SAA. She has featured on ‘Fraser & Friends’, ‘A Splash of Paint’ and other teaching programs. She was also a contestant in channel 4’s Water Colour Challenge series.

Author of 3 books including the best seller ‘People aren’t Scary, really’, other titles include ‘Animals on the Loose’ and ‘Painting Dorset in water colour’. plus many DVD’s

As well as running her own workshops in her beautiful, newly refurbished studio on a working farm, in her county of birth Dorset, she also demonstrates and teaches for art groups throughout the UK and Europe, and on cruise ships. She has been a regular tutor at the ‘All about Art’ in Islington, London and currently teaching at the SAA headquarters.

Selling ORIGINAL artwork at affordable prices in a wide range of subjects, captured in a unique loose, impressionistic style, using big brush and strong tonal contrasts. Using a wide range of mediums, for all tastes and occasions.

Marilyn writes regular teaching articles for art publications and test many products for the art industry.
