I returned to art after I retired from a career in business but this time it took me up many different paths and roads and I love that feeling of exploration and discovery. Every new painting brings me something to learn and enjoy - well mainly! I started painting in oils but now do more in acrylics, watercolours and I love collage/mixed media and find that far more exciting and creative. I also do pastels - mainly of birds and animals. I am continually learning and any artist that says there is nothing more to learn is talking through the hole in their palette I think! Art has been a solace and a joy for me and I hope will continue to be so for many more years to come.
