I am a retired primary school teacher who always had a great interest in art. I started out as a sculptor when a student. Since retiring I took up painting seriously. I enjoy all mediums but particularly acrylics. I do small water colours of local scenes . I also paint large acrylics of local scenes with particular regard to the sea near where I live on the NorthEast coast. I sell these pictures to raise money for a cystic fibrosis charity .I do small craft fairs and have managed to raise a considerable sum over the last two years. It is really good to do something you enjoy and use it to make a difference to someone's life. Unfortunately we have a great niece with this illness.
