Purnima is a creative art enthusiast with a strong interest in Art and Design.  This journey began in 1997 where she decided to leave her career in banking in order to pursue her passion.  In 1998 Purnima was awarded the further and Adult Education teaching Certifcate which is where her teaching career began.
With over 20 years exerience as a teacher, Purnima currently teaches a variety of water colour art classes in local adult education colleges, master classes for Warwick University and art workshops around Warwickshire to  local art groups.  The courses are tailored to suit both beginners and advanced learners covering a variety of subjects such as: birds and animals, wildlife, landscapes, rusticbuildings and botanical and floral art.
Purnima has extensive experience in a wide variety of mediums and subject matters, she is an encouraging tutor and concerntrates on a variety of techniques and key principles of good drawing and compostion.  Her specialisms include watercolour, coloured pencils , pen ink and wash and graphite pencils.
Her Highly praised step- by -step demonstraions form a key learning too of all participants.  Her gentle, but enthusiastic style encourages learners of all abilities to achieve their own personal artistic goals.  Her passion for painting is reflected in her teachings.  
Purnima is an Associate member of the SAA and a member of the Birmingham Botanical Society.
