Above the Tideline, Cadgwith

Alice Hole

For hundreds of years, industrious fishermen in Cadgwith have braved the sea to trawl for fish, in what has always been, a tough and often dangerous job which takes great skill and knowledge of the local waters.
In this pen and ink wash drawing I wanted to capture the atmosphere of Cadgwith Cove by drawing the fishing boats filled with all the necessary equipment, against the idyllic backdrop.
