Ballerina

My first attempt at using a palet knife and lots of acrylic paint on stretched canvas. The human figure is beautiful and ballerinas are dainty looking and so elegant. Their determination to perform and hours of practice to strengthen muscles is admirable. No wonder ballerinas have been painted before by great artists. This pose is a classic one.
I had a lot of fun making the dress look flowing and still use a lot of paint.
