I rememeber eating a bag of fish and chips overlooking this view, watching the gulls fly overhead and watch the encroaching tide come ever closer. I visited Bangor when I had other ambitions for another career, before realising that I was meant to become an artist instead. So it seems fitting to paint the location of what could have been the beginnings of another career with what has become my identity also, as an artist.
