Bedruthan Steps
On a slightly blustery visit to Bedruthan Steps, I had a moment which would change my direction as an artist forever. Back then I used predominately watercolour (badly) and wanted to find my artistic voice. I left the beach brimming with inspiration and finally understanding what I needed to express in my art. From there I learned to paint in another medium, and get better at watercolour too, putting me on path of becoming an artist, turning professional three years later. I returned to this scene many years after this trip to capture how it made me feel and project that magic I felt there.
Are those reflections in the sand, or ghosts dancing away forever by the sea? For a place filled with legends of giants, perhaps they could be.
