Acrylic on Panel
Panel: 49 x 49cm
Framed: 60 x 60cm
This painting was inspired by memories of many walks up Glen Prosen to the Corrie Fee and Glen Clova, particularly to Loch Brandy. This scene is completely imaginary however has elements of both places included within it. The Angus Glens provide many spectacular scenes for the artist. I have painted both ‘en plein air’ (outdoors) and from my own photographs. Sometimes I prefer to let my imagination take over, as in this painting.
