Early spring tree at Boynton bridge 2012

A.J. (Tony) Hogan

This painting is the slower part of the most amazing copper beach tree on a local private estate which is normally deep alizarin reds, ultramarine blues, red golds in colour. When I visited in early spring this year whilst tutoring a group on an art holiday here on the Yorkshire Wolds it was so completely different in colour that I just had to paint it. As did the others in the group.
