This is my lovely husband, Terry. He bought me a photography backdrop set for Christmas so I could take reference photos for my work. I couldn't have been more thrilled as now I can really focus on what I want in a portrait.

Just prior to this photo was taken he had the pleasure of receiving a makeover by our little lady. I think she was going for Adam Lambert vibes...I absolutely love how she expresses her artistic side by using us as a blank canvas. I thought it would make a great narrative for a portrait. Terry was so poorly over Christmas and really wasn't feeling it that day but he still indulged littlun by being her guinea pig and then mustered the energy to pose for me....what a superstar, I think this portrait expresses what it means/feels like to be a dad of a tween these days.
