This landscape oil painting started off as a small study for a larger piece however has become a completed work of art in its own right. I used my own reference photograph taken September 2016 as my source of inspiration. On the summit of this hill there is a memorial tower to the 10th Earl of Airlie, who died fighting in the Boer War. The pathways up Tulloch Hill , which is quite a steep climb, are through a forest of Scots Pine Trees. Once at the top there are wonderful views between Glen Prosen, and Glen Clova. This view is looking north where the Angus Glens edge themselves into the Cairngorm National Park. The Airlie Monument is behind the camera. Price includes first class UK postage and packing.
