Poppy
I painted this poppy for the SAA Paint A Poppy exhibition in 2019.
It is a strong representation of the flower, almost like the poppy you would wear for remembrance but softened by the field of poppies and leaves below.
I have a placemat and mug, which SAA made from my painting, and the artwork is very effective on these items.
