Respite - Storm Eunice from Snowden Moor
In the early months of 2022 the UK was battered by a series of brutal storms.
During Storm Eunice, I ventured out between the rain and managed to sketch this scene in watercolour. Once back in the warm and dry I turned it into this oil painting. I loved the swirling lines in the landscape, suggesting the movement of the air during the storm,
