Sand Dollar and friends

John Ratcliffe

A Sand Dollar and a couple of bivalve shells. This specimen came from California.

This painting was the result of classes courtesy of Sarah Morrish. You can find her courses at https://www.illustratingnaturesdetails.com/

The Sand Dollar is naturally very pale, so it makes for a painting that is difficult to see clearly. You can see a much clearer, bigger image of one after the end credits on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
