Spring Surprise!
When I was thinking about what to do for the SAA “Spring” challenge my calendar was showing a painting by Rene Magritte. Initially I thought of putting a daffodil in place of the lambs head but then felt it would be more effective to give the daffodil a lambs head. I’d recently bought a small pad of Pastelgrain paper so decided it would be an ideal opportunity to try that out as well.
Pan pastels, Faber Castel and Derwent pastel pencils and miscellaneous soft pastels on Pastelgrain paper
