Sunset Skyscape at Town Lane, Kew, Southport
Dramatic colours to match the dramatic sunset I saw at the end of a dog walk with Ezra in the park at Town Lane, Kew in Southport. The vivid colours and amazing cloud shapes filled the sky whichever way I looked so they just had to be painted in acrylics on a long, thin canvas to capture the full panorama before us.
Because it is on a deep stretched canvas it also meant that I could continue the picture around the sides of the stretcher.
“Sunset Skyscape at Town Lane, Kew, Southport” will take its place in the joint exhibition between myself and tutored students from my “You CAN Draw and Paint Academy” at The ArtHouse gallery in Southport May 6-24.
