TIGER, TIGER BURNING BRIGHT. IN THE FORESTS OF THE NIGHT.
In this painting I used a photograph [permission given] of a tiger taken by Nick Garbutt, which I saw in an exhibition in Penang. I used my artistic licence to change the photograph by mixing different coloured inks with a liquitex medium, which I then poured onto the canvas to make the "make believe forest" the tiger is walking into.
I used one of my recycled canvases for this painting.
