View From Witches Wood

Murray Ince

This little acrylic is a scene familiar to all who suffered the school cross country at West Wight Middle school in Freshwater here on the Isle of Wight, we used to run (well sometimes) through this little wood known to generations of children as 'Witches Wood', this was probably a name given to it by a PE teacher a millennium ago to get young athletes to run more quickly, in some cases it worked.
