Young swan, bamboo pen and ink

I saw this young swan on a walk, and was inspired to get home and try to remember the essence of fluffy down and water droplets, and also the fact that it was eyeing me warily.I used a bamboo pen made from garden bamboo cuttings, and Winsor and Newton black and peat brown inks. It took only a couple of minutes as I dropped water onto the paper and then just touched the pen nib to it and let it form itself, only "grounding" it by a pencil stroke).I felt this represented the fleeting nature of the encounter and the use of a wet surface took me back to the river. It is something I want to try again as I usually labour over my work to its detriment,so thank you so much for this challenge!
