TINY GROUP – LOADS OF INDIVIDUAL TUITION – BOOK NOW TO ENSURE A PLACE
If you can write your signature, you can learn the basics of drawing! Yes, really! I’ve been teaching drawing for 28 years, and have evolved a way of enabling almost anyone to be able to learn to draw with confidence.
Drawing can be an enjoyable, relaxing and absorbing activity on its own. It is also an important skill for anyone wanting to learn to paint. People often come to me wanting to paint without realising that it is very difficult to go beyond basic painting without some drawing skills. Why? Because drawing helps you learn to think visually, appreciate far more what you see in the world around you, and enables you to be able to create interesting and personally expressive paintings that are on a completely different level from copying photos or other people’s work.
Students are often amazed at what they can do with just a few hours’ drawing practice, so come and have some fun – everyone is welcome, especially absolute beginners!
What will we do in the Exploring Drawing Workshop?
You will learn step by step skills in drawing a simple still life from observation. There will be loads of step by step demonstrations, explanations and encouraging, supportive, individual guidance to help you develop skills and confidence.
