This is a one day watercolour course when you will be painting one detailed painting on Two Rivers 200lb paper. We meet at 10.00 am for a coffee/tea and a chat, then move into the studio for a 10.30 start. We break for lunch at 1.00 pm. I take a maximum of 4 students of all abilities. I set out a composition and we paint the same painting stage by stage laying down a succession of washes then explore wet into wet techniques. I work with a limited palette of 3 colours. the picture is finished off with the addition of contrast, shadows or tone adjustment to give depth. Finish approx 5.00 pm
