Welcome to my Poppy’s workshop. This is a great workshop to try especially if you are new to painting flowers. Or even new to painting using oil paint. You will have such fun painting this poppy.
My workshops are split into small easy to follow sections. Each section I will carefully demonstrate and lead you through.This will enable you to put it on your own canvas. In this particular painting we will start with acrylic paint and paint in the background then let it fully dry. After that we can start and use our oil paint [let the fun begin]. The first step is to paint in the leaves and any foliage that we want int he painting. Next step is to paint in the poppy’s themselves here we use very thin paint much like water colour. The final stage is to add in the detail this will bring you painting fully to life.
Paint with Ray can offer Landscape Seascape and Floral oil painting workshops. All of my workshops cost £45-00 and all of the materials are supplied for you. The only thing you would need to bring with you is an apron some paper towels and your lunch. There is a fridge and a microwave here for you to use.
Tea coffee and biscuits are on offer throughout the day.
There are also a good selection of well made frames for you to choose from. If you would require a frame please ask on the day. These frames will really enhance your painting.
