Informal and friendly, all levels of painter welcome.
Just bring your usual painting items, including plenty of spare paper for practicing on. You should bring some relevant reference photos. I will have a selection of paper, pens, paints, brushes etc. for sale to fill any gaps.
20th October, Saturday: Setting the Scene for your Painting, A selection of skies, distances and foregrounds with different feelings. We shall paint a few ready for your focal point later.
27th October, Saturday: Market Square/ Street Scene, not scary at all! Using those holiday snaps to remember the busy places. How to simplify cafes and people. Bring some relevant holiday photos.
29th October, Monday: Backgrounds for Flowers, Butterflies etc, How to paint really colourful dark backgrounds using paint and inks.
3rd November, Saturday: Composing a Painting from a Selection of Your Own Photos. Bring some photos, not related to each other, I will show you how to make a well constructed painting.
