Sue Sareen

Held by Sue Sareen

As a tutor I believe that the most important aspect of a course is that the tutor is a practising artist, able to convey their own excitement and enthusiasm about painting to their students. As a practising artist, they should be able to give “hands on demonstrations” backed up by their own-in depth knowledge of different approaches to painting, painting techniques, and the components of picture making.
I believe that it is important for tutors to be adaptable to the differing levels of ability and experience of different students, and to be sensitive to each student’s own strengths, needs and particular vision.
Aimed at beginners and improvers, these regular sessions aim to introduce the subject and extend students abilities in watercolour.
