Held by Terence Rogers
I tend now to teach all the time at one of my art groups, which is an absolute pleasure, especially when you see the joy of the pupil when they realise that their work has improved, and they start tackling more difficult subjects. I was never trained as an art teacher, and my only claim to fame, in my working life was that I had trained a great many trainee engineers in the art of inspection. When it comes to art however, I can offer to teach it simply, with simple subjects, that give instant gratification. Unless of course the individual or group, require a more difficult subject. After any demonstration, the piece will be given to the individual or group to do as they please. If it is not finished then I will finish it for them, so that they can have it later. I’m here basically to pass on my knowledge and to encourage others to paint.
