In this two day workshop, artist Valerie Briggs will be demonstrating how she uses a layered wash technique and overlaying strokes in darker colours to create the Brown Hare’s fur. This technique can be used for any mammals’ fur. The technique is both applicable to watercolour or coloured pencils.

Single occupancy in secure room: £440.00 per person. Located in a shared building and amenities. Shared twin room: £395 per person (minimum booking for two). Sharing with a friend or with another guest looking to share a room. In either case, both individuals are participating in the retreat. Non-participating partners sharing a course participant’s room are welcome: £320 per person and includes meals. This option is subject to availability.
