To this delightful composition with farm buildings in Scotland, we will add some interesting cool colours to the background. The lovely red/brown undergrowth poking out through the snow in the foreground offers a great warm element to the cool colours in this Winter Snow Scene. The threatening snow clouds brings an atmospheric element to the sky in contrast to the warm sunshine on the white walls of the buildings.
Claire will demonstrate the picture she has chosen during the day, spending the rest of the time helping students where needed, enabling them to finish a picture to take home. She will explain her plan, techniques, colour choices and principles she employs to achieve the desired results.
