The aim of this video is to make you a better painter. In this second part, Ben takes the core skills he covers in the first video and uses them in some stunning pieces of artwork. He shows how using several basic skills, including wet and dry brush work, using masking fluid, removing colour with a sponge and a blade, and the use of the right colours and tones, can make paintings stand out from the rest.
Ben concentrates on exploring composition to make your paintings original, and shows how your image does not need to be the same as the reference photo. Through the use of a theme board, you too can take your painting further than just a straight copy of another image. Follow Ben’s instruction to improve your technique and make your watercolour paintings better than ever.
