The Chinese Year of the Ox begins 12th February 2021, the lucky flower for this year is Peach blossom so to celebrate this I have create a resting ox under a peach blossom tree
In Chinese Brush painting, techniques the ethos is to capture the essence of the subject with a few paint strokes. The materials , called the four treasures, (Ink, paper, brush and inkstone.) have a central to the whole process of creating the painting.
