Cath chose Maggie as the subject for this workshop in pastel because she feels she has the most enchanting expression, which makes you want to pick up your pastels & paint her.
In this workshop, Cath shall explain how to achieve correct proportions with Maggie’s initial drawing. You will find out how to use different pastel techniques and mark makings to create a number of effects, such as how to work with fur, creating wonderful eyes and making her nose wet! Cath will also talk about the importance of pastel colour choice and working tonal values.
