I was so inspired by a very small picture in a magazine of the lifeboat.It was from an old magazine which I am sorry I didnt keep. I thought it would be a good idea to put it in very rough seas as would very often happen. I think these lifeboat men and women do such amazing rescues that I just had to paint them at work. i loved painting the big waves giving the watercolour an atmospheric feeling, which I hope I have done justice.
