Driffield Art Club was founded in 1965 by a small group of Artists living in the Driffield area in East Yorkshire. They came together to support each other and work towards building an art club for the local area. 50 years later Driffield Art Club has a dynamic membership of between 120/140 members from across the East Riding of Yorkshire. The club meets on the third Monday evening of each month, except August, and enjoys regular demonstrations by Professional Artists from within the county and elsewhere. It also organises exhibitions for members to showcase their work and monthly workshops and outings to exhibtions and Art Festivals like Patchings. This year we visited the SAA Headquarters in May.
