Brampton Arts and Crafts Club was Established in 1970. the clubs mantra is to encourage Arts & Crafts people to meet weekly with the aim of sharing their knowledge with each other. we break for a coffee/tea & bisquits along with a natter and review of each other paintings. 3 exhibitions a year and visits from demo/workshop artists.
the founders of Brampton Arts and Crafts Club were Jack and Mary Allison and formed our club in 1970.
Jack was an art teacher in Irthing Valley, whom was a potter and ran an Art shop in Brampton wanted anyone who likes to paint, draw or do any craft work to get together.
Some of the Artists are already regularly exhibitors. others are just beginning want to develop their skills.
support and encouragement is the main aim, and we also have optional club projects, demonstrations by established artists and a annual exhibition at Brampton Community centre, Wooden Hut every November.
