Sidmouth Society of Artists

Sidmouth Society of Artists was originally started around 1955 and was formed to provide an opportunity for artists and like minded people in and around South West Devon to meet, discuss and share their interests and experiences in the arts.
We are an active and vibrant society with monthly demonstrations and linked workshops, a weekly art group and annual exhibitions. Demonstrations are held at Kennaway House, Sidmouth on the fourth Thursday of the month throughout the year with video screening, a society shop, tea and coffee. We have a wonderful Annual Exhibition of Members work in the summer within Kennaway House, complimented by 'Art in the Park' later in the year at Connaught Gardens and we are artists in residence to Sidmouth Manor Pavillion Theatre with 'Art in the Theatre'.
