In this 9-day exceptional residential art holiday, we will base ourselves in the stunning coastal city of Essaouira. Portuguese, French and Berber architecture frame the maze-like streets. Essaouira is protected by a natural bay partially shielded by the Iles Purpuraires. This blue seaside town combines some of the best of what Morocco has to offer great food and vibrant culture in a chilled atmosphere that isn’t as prominent in other parts of the country. Essaouira is renowned for its resident painters and artists attracted to the city but the beautiful natural surroundings and quality of light.
Marrakech, which will be on our itinerary for the last two nights of the holiday, provides a chance to dive into the famous souks for some bargains and visit the colourful Jardin Majorelle.
