Castle Chimera
I live in rural Italy, and I am surrounded by old ruins, including pre-roman tombs. I am fascinated by the 'history and mystery' of these, and I have been using various techniques to try and capture this idea and thr aura of these places. This is mainly watercolour, but with he deliberate use of gesso before and after to add to the textural quality of the ruins.
