Sir Rowan
This is an original unframed painting of a medieval knight. The mediums are pastels on velour paper.
I am particularly pleased how I captured the armour and how the light and colours played on the metal. The original photograph was from a knight at a re-enactment at Loxwood Joust last year which my wife Lesley captured. I changed the position of his sword, but otherwise a true reflection of a Knight in Shining Armour, albeit muddied and dented through battle.
