My earliest memory of art was being stood in front of an easel under the shade of green trees on a beautiful sunny day in primary school. One of my favourite memories. It’s always been there for me, even when I’ve not been there for ‘it’. I’ve always observed closely how things look, their shapes, their colours, their light and darkest shades. So, I’ve now had in excess of 35 years of teaching art in addition to producing my own work, which has helped me grow and gain more insights into so many different mediums as well as making lifelong friendships along the way. I believe the process of ‘doing art’ should be a joyful and happy experience and want my students to enjoy their learning with me.
