I live looking out over fields. I paint flowers in watercolour, loving the lesser know varieties. I enjoy watching them as they appear and grow, blossom and flower, and gently fade and fall to feed the ground through winter. I work with Elizabeth Shorrock to create hand-made sketchbooks. I paint more figuratively in oil, although flowers and still life feature more and more. I draw with charcoal, such a joy. I feel that drawing and painting are a form of meditation.
