We’re very excited to bring you this watercolour workshop from Trevor Osborne where you’ll be creating a portrait of the gorgeous dog, Burt!
Trevor says: “My earliest experiences with watercolour were with John Blockley. From him I learnt that a watercolour is first a painting and secondly a representation. In my paintings of animals I am trying to get the character before the detail.
My approach is based on a simple drawing and then loose and expressive brushwork. Burt is a great example and gives plenty of scope for getting his fun, robust beauty.”
